Physician Derrick is a TCM Physician with over a decade of clinical experience. He holds a double degree in Biomedical Sciences from Nanyang Technological University and Chinese Medicine from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

Throughout his tenure at established institutions including Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Chunghwa Medical Institution and the Tsao Foundation, Derrick has developed a clinical focus on pain management, sports injuries and neurological conditions. As an avid swimmer, he advocates for an active recovery model, integrating acupuncture and tuina techniques with a strong emphasis on muscle strengthening. This approach also empowers patients to take charge of their own long-term health through dedicated self-recovery. His clinical expertise extends to Paediatric care, where he provides gentle, holistic TCM solutions for children’s health.

Outside of clinical work, Derrick is a qualified WSQ ACTA trainer deeply committed to public TCM education. He is a regular speaker for the Tsao Foundation and frequently conducts TCM workshops for organisations such as Council for 3rd Age (C3A) and various Active Ageing Centres (AAC), sharing practical TCM knowledge to help the community become healthier through lifestyle changes.
