About Physician Min Jun

Min Jun is a graduate from the Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine double degree course, jointly conducted by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (China). She has been a full-time physician since her graduation in 2013.

She is greatly interested in allergic conditions, dermatology, paediatrics, and gynaecology. Having personally experienced dermatological and allergic conditions like acne, urticaria and eczema and recovering using TCM, she can relate to patients how TCM can best complement conventional treatments. Her personal experience with menstrual and fertility issues, pregnancy risk, and raising a child also sparked her pursuit of the western medicine perspective and TCM management of gynaecological and paediatric conditions.

In 2018, she was awarded a scholarship under the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore to pursue a Master of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The knowledge assisted her to further advocate the use of food as medicine to her patients, as she firmly believes that many health issues and illnesses can be prevented or managed with an appropriate diet guided by TCM and modern nutritional knowledge.

Prior to joining the Chong Hoe family, she was with NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic where she was also a clinical mentor to TCM undergraduate students during clinical internships. She was also appointed to teach the NTU Master of Science in Applied Gerontology and Flexi-Master in Health and Ageing since 2021.

Work aside, Min Jun enjoys reading. Other than understanding different concepts and exploring multiple creativities, reading allows her to gain powerful insights into many experiences that others went through, which deepens her empathy and consciousness to her patients’ emotions and concerns.
